Chris Paul left the game early in the third quarter with 'bruised ribs', the injury was actually caused in the second quarter and Paul tried to play through it, whilst Speedy lasted all of 34 seconds before succumbing to a concussion.

CP3 is really going through the wars now. Bad hand, bruised tailbone and now bruised ribs.

I really like Paul's heart, the guy seems to play his hardest on the court every day. Along with that, he is able to play through all those injuries. I really think the guy is going to be something big in a few more years.

He's said he'll play tomorrow, which is amazing given the sheer amount of injuries he has.
He philosophy seems to be 'if it doesn't kill me, i can get through it'.

Chris paul is a stud and what he has done for the hornets is unbelieveable

Did anyone see how Paul got hit? Was he trying to go through a screen or did it happen on a layup? There's no question that when you play the Hornets you have to get physical with Paul. But he's so quick it's hard to lay a hand on him. He's used to it and hopefully by now the refs are watching out for the best thing that's happened to the NBA in several years.
