Chirs Paul says, "Aggressive, not scared of anything. Portland better hold on to him because they def got a prized possession for the future."
I think he played great tonight..... Very excited about his future. Hope we don't continue to play him 38 minutes a game though!
This Lillard, with all due respect to Aldridge, is probably our best option on offense. I like that he looks to get others involved, but I almost think he needs to be a little more selfish at the outset of games
I just think we need to run PNR with Lil and Aldridge more. It could be one of the most deadly combos in the game. I'm thinking Nash/Dirk circa 2002/2003.
The kid is learning. I saw some stuff that I hadn't from him before last night. Like splitting double teams, and that one spin drive he had to get an and 1. So he's certainly capable of being more focused on scoring. He'll realize the deficiencies of his teammates sometime this season and call his own # more, but right now, he looks to not be stepping on toes. What's crazy, is that he's still putting up great #s.
I kept thinking the same thing. The reason Lillard had only 4 assists was because our guys kept missing. Lillard needs to do more driving and shooting himself.
I think he'll do just that, but he will have to wait for Aldridge to figure out he's not the best player on the team and that could take a while.
Isn't the real problem our pathetic bench? The problem is they probably don't make any mid season moves to help this team, hoping to woo a good FA in the summer.
Olshey built this roster like the old Clippers, where he worked for 13 or so years. Paul symbolizes the new Clippers. The new Clippers looked in the mirror and saw the old Clippers. Sorry to get all psychedelic on you rubes. I better keep dumbing it down.
This place cracks me up! For years everybody hear cracks on our PGs for shooting too much and now everybody wants him to shoot more! When will everybody be happy?
