Craig Crawford (Rivals Profile, Scout Profile) Quarterback/Athlete Huntington (WV) Huntington Ht: 6-foot-2 Wt: 205 lbs Forty: 4.38 secs Bench max: n/a Squat max: n/a Vertical: 33 inches GPA: 3.0 Class: 2009 (High School) Offers: Wake Forest, Marshall During his junior season, Crawford threw for 1600 yards, 13 touchdowns and ran for an extra 500 yards and 7 touchdowns. He currently doesn't have any offers, but that figures to change as we head into spring. If there's one thing that stands out about Crawford, it's that he definitely looks to run before he throws. He is outstanding with the ball in his hands and he can take it to the house on any given play. Despite is love for the run, Crawford is also an adequate passer with a decent arm. His vision is above average and he reads defense quite well. He does throw an awkward ball and he tends to side arm his throws, which is definitely something he will need to work on throughout his senior year. All in all, however, Crawford is an outstanding prospect with big play ability. He'll most likely end up as a WR or DB in college.

He says he's wide open at the moment, but would like to stay close to home, somewhere on the east coast. I personally don't think he ends up as a QB in college, FWIW. Will probably switch back to wide receiver wherever he goes, as that's his natural position.
Per DeaconsIllustrated, Wake Forest has offered Crawford as a safety. He says they're now his favorite.
