<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>'Crash' sequel possibly in the works</span>By Martin A. Grove March 30, 2007Haggis interview: A recent interview with director/writer Paul Haggis about his new syndicated drama, "The Black Donnellys" brought ahead news about a potential sequel to his acclaimed Oscar award-winning picture "Crash." With the original bringing such a deep, contrived emotion from stereotypes far and wide, Haggis has his work cut out for him. "Obviously, with first film doing so well and people appreciating the spotlight towards bringing the stereotypes to life on-screen, I would have to push the envelope even further," says Haggis. And indeed it will with Haggis planning plot points and character archetypes such as, a lazy black man focusing on his long pursuit to be a 'po' rapper, a Caucasian politician involved in pedophilia, a persecuted Muslim who is actually a terrorist, an Asian woman struggling to adapt to the Americans way of driving, and lastly the struggles of a Latin American janitor. "Hopefully this sequel will continue the praise and awards the first film brought and cement myself as one of the greatest filmakers on this planet," Haggis exclaims nonchantly.</div>
What's with the enlarged text? Anyway, sounds good...hopefully it won't suck as most sequals do. (excluding a few) First one was awesome.
Crash was solid, but I thought it was a little silly/over done. Winning best picture was a complete joke last year.

You all need to learn how to read. A muslim who is actually a terrorist, Latin American janitor? Haha.
