<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jamal Crawford won't necessarily consider himself part of the Bulls this summer until something changes.

He is planning to put his home in Libertyville up for sale, just to be ready for anything once he becomes a restricted free agent on July 1.

"It's going to be an interesting summer," Crawford said after Tuesday's practice at the Berto Center. "I'm really looking forward to it, just to see how things shake out - if I'm here, if I'm not."

Crawford knows, though, that his status won't bring complete freedom. As a restricted free agent, the Bulls will be able to match any offer he receives from another team.

The 6-foot-5 guard has bigger fans in the world than Bulls general manager John Paxson. But it wouldn't be a wise move for the Bulls to let Crawford walk away with nothing in return.

"I feel like I'm in a win-win situation," Crawford said. "I'll be able to explore my options and go from there."</div>

The word on the street is that Isiah wants him pretty bad and that Paxon is craving a superstar shooter like Houston.

Allan Houston has one of the worst contracts in the league and makes it close to impossible for him to be traded. If Isiah found a way to clear the cap space, he would go after Kobe, and not Crawford.

I don't think Paxson has Houston in mind as the shooter for the Bulls. The Bulls are the last team in the league who would want another over inflated player on the roster.

I hate to say it but i would kind of be glad if crawford was gone, he has no consistency one game hes got 17,9,4 and the next hes 4,3,6. Crawford would be better off on any team and this would give Jannero Pargo more playing time if they resign him.

Shapecity, here's some quotes from the article that I was referring to:

<font color="SeaGreen">Jamal Crawford considers himself a marquee player, which explains his smile when discussing the possibility of playing in the nation's biggest market.

New York Knicks operations chief Isiah Thomas is a big fan of Crawford's and will try to acquire the restricted free agent this summer. He'll have Crawford's attention.

''Every time I see him, I say hello,'' Crawford said. ''I have a lot of respect for him, not just Isiah the general manager, but he's one of the best players to ever play.

''We talk every time we see each other."

Thomas could attempt to acquire Crawford in a sign-and-trade. Thomas tried to trade for Crawford before the Feb. 19 deadline by offering Othella Harrington, but talks never progressed.

Stephon Marbury is the only Knick considered untouchable. Bulls operations chief John Paxson will try to acquire an All-Star-caliber player this summer, and Allan Houston fits that description. Houston has two more seasons on his max deal. Antonio Davis or Jerome Williams would have to be included, which wouldn't be a problem for Paxson. Houston, however, is battling problems with his left quadriceps.</font>

No I don't want Crawford to go, unless someone really really good will replace him. I have a feelign that the only way Crawford has to go... is to go up. He's not playing really well right now and I know he's better than that. I sure don't want him to have a breakout season with some other team so I'd like him to stay.

Oh and he lives in Libertyville? haha

The only way Crawford would be traded for Houston, is if someone like Eddie Robinson and JYD were in the deal to match saleries.

I don't like the idea of Crawford leaving Chitown, especially for Houston. He is one of their best young players and has really came into his own this year. The only problem I have with him is his leading ability. I thought he was ready to lead the Bulls this year and that didn't happen. But, I would much rather see Crawford as a Bull next year due to the fact that he is still young and he did show what he could do when he is the #1 option.
