Was looking at some ridiculous deals on electronics for Black Friday. 120 dollar 60" LCD tvs?! I think it's going to be a fucking zoo. I've done Black Friday only once and I vowed to never do it again. I was so stressed and annoyed. How do you feel about it?
My Wife just bought a Macbook Air yesterday, what are the chances they would match a black friday deal if she took it back? Apple teases upcoming annual Black Friday sale
it will probably be 80-100 dollars cheaper. don't think they'll price match, you can try but its going to be a fucking madhouse at the apple store.
yeah. I did the apple store a few years ago on black friday...didn't have to wait that long in line though since it was the first time them doing deals and people didn't know about it....in and out in 30 min with a macbook for $700 or something (I did a few other discount tricks like pricematched best buy, etc). I'll be downtown later in the day though...probably hitting up some of my favorite stores in PEarl...
yeah, i don't know if they were supposed to but I got them to pricematch a black friday "early bird" promo that Best Buy was doing if you bought a macbook you got a free $100 best buy card....then instead of the card they just took an extra $100 off or something. i think maybe around 800 actually....but it was a good ass deal.
out of curiosity went Black Friday Sales on my way to a Ducks game a couple years ago. Awful AWFUL experience. Not worth the savings lol. Sometimes its fun to go at like 10 am to see what Blu Rays and Video games are still left and on sale.
These large companies know they're going to take a hit on several products during Black Friday. This is their chance to outdo their competitor while attempting to stay out of the red for the busiest shopping day of the year. Essentially, they're lookin' to get you into their store and entice you with their garbage. Once you are there, then you have to wait in ridiculously long lines where they hope you buy more of their over priced crap. Then they solicit the hell out of you once you're at their register. Say "No thanks" to having them tattoo you all over with their capitalistic ink!
Never done it before. Not worth the stress. I'll be in Manhattan on Black Friday this year, maybe I'll hit up the NBA Store!
I'm actually in need of a new 32 to 40 inch tv for bedroom. But it's just not worth the hassle. There are always great deals after bfriday is over, maybe not quite as amazing, but worth not dealing with so many people. Actually, I have never done bfriday.
