    LMJ and Thomas

Is it a violation for a HC to encourage NCAA athletes to leave for the NFL for personal gain?
    What a whore!

If LMJ, Thomas and Kelly all end up in Tampa.. I would be shocked.. I wouldn't think LMJ would be involved, but definitely would feel that Kelly pushed Thomas into the NFL for his own gain.. although Thomas will never be a good NFL QB. I could see Kelly wanting Thomas there to run his spread offense.

There would be much better candidates to run the spread at the NFL level. Thomas is soooooooo slooooooooow.

What if Kelly did have 'something' to do with LMJ and Thomas leaving Oregon? No one I knew saw the DT announcement coming.

Why not? He already did us dry (probable) with four big time recruits and potentially with a few verbs.

I don't know about LMJ, but I have a strong feeling that Thomas left because he knew Chip was leaving. I don't know if Chip coerced him or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were related.

haha I know.. I was mainly being sarcastic.. DT is a slower, smaller, worse passing version of Tebow.

If he goes to the Bucs, we have something to talk about!

I could legit see LMJ going to the Bucs...Blount and James - very complimentary.

LMJ projected as 4th best rb in the draft.. I don't know what the bucs need. but if James is still around in the second round I could see it happening.

Blount has injury concerns to go along with his inability to catch passes. They might go with a RB in the 2nd or 3rd depending on how much Kelly wants to run.

    It's Dan Gilbert-esque

Can we require him to change the font for all of his posts to comic sans?

Wow. I mean, we've had some fun at each other's expense in the Blazer forum, but this Targus Kook takes the cake.

Chip isn't leaving, at least that's what I've heard.

I mean, I can understand if someone is upset with Chip, and they laid out an intelligent reason why, or at least be able to see it from another perspective

But to call the guy a whore? My God, this is beyond KingSpeed levels of lack of emotional control.

    Some people....

Yeah, the "Chip Kelly is a whore" thing is going to be tough to recover from for this poor guy.

91.3% of the time, of course.

It isn't a done deal. Expected within 24-48 hrs and the Bucs are offering somewhere around $7m per year. All indications point to Chip leaving, but it isn't signed and sealed. Yet.

Reportedly, Petersen is #1 on the Ducks list and reportedly, Oregon is the one job Petersen has said he'd seriously consider.
