'Criminal' Man Utd were robbed, says Ferguson

QUOTE

Sir Alex Ferguson labelled his side's failure to hold on for victory at Arsenal on Saturday as 'criminal'.

Ferguson accused referee Howard Webb of favouring Arsenal in Manchester United's 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.

William Gallas, whose own goal had given United a first-half lead, volleyed an injury-time equaliser for the Gunners.

Cesc Fabregas had brought Arsenal level early in the second half but Ferguson thought Cristiano Ronaldo's goal eight minutes from time had won it until Gallas salvaged a draw. Ferguson was frustrated United had not been able to hang on for a win that would have taken them top of the Barclays Premier League.

I've got to admit, Fergie should be quite ashamed of himself after these comments. He just can't accept that a younger and by paper a "less talented team" could contend with his overpriced heaps. For the most part, Arsenal have the better talent and it has shown as a whole. This coming from someone who doesn't care for either club.

I also think Wenger is a better coach. This coming from a United fan. [IMG]

    Well, its very clear

Ferguson has had more $$$$$$$ to boost his team and hardly relies developing youngtalent, he instead BUYS!

Wenger has had less $$$$$$ to boost his team and manytimes prefersnot to break the bank. Wenger likes to develope young talent instead!

I think ramos and wenger are very similar, they didnt need expensive players in their squads to achieve success, hopefully ramos can follow his trait instead of being like all other managers who need hugefunds to win something.

The very same Howard Webb favoured Arsenal @ Anfield last week. You only had to breathe on the Arsenal players and they fell over.

Most of the players on the Arsenal squad were nothings that he bloomed into great players.

And Fergie is getting like Martin O'Neill with all of his complaining. We both got a point each, and Man. United were away. Fair result.

Yes but he bought them Young and Cheap. Thats whats he's saying. Take Fabregas for example he would still be in Barca's Reserve side but thanks to Wengers amazingskill he is easily one of the best Midfielders in the world.

Wenger is still a better manager than fergie, Its hard to imagine fergie opening the season withyoungsters and being able to have full confidence in them to win matches. Would fergiebe able to win as much as he has won without money?...more likely not!
