Cro Cop's next opponent

    Cro Cop's next opponent, according to FiveOuncesOfPain.com, is likely to be PRIDE veteran Sergei Kharitonov (15-3).

    Kharitonov is a pretty damn good fighter so this is a big challenge for Cro Cop. DREAM supposedly wanted Cro Cop to fight him at DREAM.1 but Cro Cop wanted an easier opponent to get tuned-up.

    Kharitonov trains with Russian Top Team and has wins over Semmy Schilt, Ninja Rua, Pedro Rizzo, Fabricio Werdum, and Alistair Overeem. I think this is a great match-up.

    fantastic match up.
    He was one of the HW's I was hoping the UFC would sign.
    No idea why they didn't unless he wanted outrageous money. Dang I hate the fracturing of top talent to different orgs.
