Crystal Palace 2-0 Ipswich Goals from Leon Cort and Paul Ifill gave Palace victory over Ipswich. Danny Butterfield set up the opener with a good cross for Cort to head into the roof of the net and Ifill made sure of the win with a right-footed drive. But the Eagles had to hang on for the last 15 minutes after Tom Soares was sent off for a foul on Dan Harding. Harding had earlier gone close for Ipswich when his drive was tipped round the post by Gabor Kiraly, who also saved well from George O'Callaghan. A great win and good to see Ifill get his first goal! at home as well. Shame Sores had to get sent off like that but a great three points but we are still mid table! Must win games against Leeds and Birmingham and the rest this month come to think of it! Up the Palace
