Good for him, I always liked Floyd. When he stays healthy he's got 30 Home Run potential. He might be better suited for a platoon as he could never hit lefty's.

And he can also play 1B in the event Lee gets re-bonked
I believe they will platoon with Murton and Floyd at left, Soriano at right, and Jones at center. However, they still want to trade Jacque Jones so they can call up Felix Pie, who plays center field normally.

Best case, trade Jones in mid-season, and bring up Pie
