Mets should win Game 1. Lester could be on
a short leash if he starts shaky. So far this year,
Cubs have shut out Metsies 7 games to 0.
Law of averages should lean toward the Metsies
(I'm using senior lingo with the grandkids). LOL

Mets have an absolutely amazing staff of 5 young pitchers (wheeler back next year) who all throw hard with great offside stuff. If they resign cespedes they will be a world series contender for at least the next 5 years.

Yep - deGrom and Harvey as a package are probably two of the most valuable commodities in MLB.

Want to slow down the BlueJays? A couple of doses of Harvey and deGrom.....oops, BlueJays may not get to the WS.....and to be fair, this NLCS isn't over yet.....soon, but not yet.

This is a tough young team, it'll be interesting to see if the Mets resign Murphy who earlier in the season they had no intention of doing.
