J. Arrieta vs. N. Syndergaard Cubs- Fowler Schwarber Bryant Rizzo Castro Coghlan Montero Baez Arrieta Mets- Granderson Wright Murphy Cespedes Duda d'Arnaud Conforto Flores Syndergaard
Another night in the high 30s, not exactly baseball weather. BTW: Lillie you're doing a great job. I'm proud of you.
Looks like Arrieta has turned back into the pumpkin he was with Baltimore. deGrom waiting in game 4, I hope the Cubs don't embarrass themselves by getting swept in the NLCS.....good ole Cubs?
Thanks Rick.....I'm having a blast. It looks absolutely miserable there. Wind chills must be in the low 30's.
deGrom in game 3!....it's worse. Good chance Cubbies will down 0-3.......could be a cold night in Wrigley for game 4.
Always has been a good hitter - gets alot of doubles, strikes out infrequently....now he's jerking them into the RF seats. Won game 5 in LA with a jolt off Greinke. One HOT hitter in the postseason can really bring the pain to the opposition.
I really want to see the Yankees go with the youth but I'm not sure I'd mind to much if the Yankees went after Murphy as a FA.
Syndegaard hitting the low inside corner with 98 gas. My gosh....he's the #3 starter. I'm not sure if Toronto or KC will beat the Mets in the WS, but I do believe if the Mets' top 3 SP stay healthy, it's not going to take a whole lot from the offense for the Mets to contend for a division or WC....and when they do get into post season play.....this is the last type of team you want to face in 5 or 7 game series....also have a fine young LHSP in Matz...and the closer Familia isn't chopped liver, to say the least. Extreme heat from the big 3...all the time, and all three have "good" curve balls. Yikes!
This is looking very much like the Mets World Series to lose. I just don't see how anyone can match up with the pitching they're throwing out there especially when they're offense is going well.
