Since Cleveland just won an NBA title, I'm pulling for the Cubs. Of course, like most people of the 80's, I grew up watching Cubs and Braves games on WGN and (w)TBS.

Next year maybe the Mariners and Padres can make it.

Harry Carey used to drink a beer an inning. By the 9th, he was sloshed.

The city loved him, still does.

When that foul ball started to go into the stands in the 9th inning, I'm sure I was not the only one holding my breath.

Normally American League fan but going with Cubbies. Cleveland had their chance not that long ago, at least within living memory. And they decided to wear their racist caps in postseason instead of their generic C caps. Still trying to claim the caricature is an "honor".

Not even looking at the "controversial" aspect of it, I've always thought it was just the ugliest, dumbest logo on Earth.

Change that team name to "Crackers" and I'd root for them. "Caucasians" is too politically correct to accurately analogize "Indians".

Kluber is mowing down the Cubs and made history in the first 3 innings. He kind of reminds me of Greg Maddux with his great pitching control.

Never heard of him but his pitches moved all over the place when I watched a few minutes earlier.

Had game on during phone bank, not optimum for watching!

So - Hillary supporters are Cubs fans. Not sure if coincidence or some mystical connection.

I'd guess that 90% of Americans outside of Cleveland are Cubs fans this year. It would be fun to see the "curse" get broken.
