<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>There's no hiding the fact the Cubs are concerned about starter Carlos Zambrano's 0-4 August in which he posted a 7.06 earned-run average. "You're concerned because at this time of year he's a guy who needs to step up," pitching coach Larry Rothschild said. "But as far as arm strength and things like that, he's fine." Zambrano's problems are difficult to diagnose. His velocity was in the mid-90s Wednesday night and his control was better than usual with only one walk and one hit batter in 6 1/3 innings. But, as WSCR-AM analyst Steve Stone pointed out, Zambrano's arm angle dropped against left-handers during Wednesday's game, flattening out his pitches. -- Chicago Tribune</div></p>

Just a bad streak, don't think 5/6 games would had even effected the $ on his contract if were still unsigned.</p>
