    Initial early thoughts

    Nick and Daunte discuss it daily. Culpepper has been very open about how he feels. It seems likely DC will be ready for the opener.

    I find it interesting that we hear NOTHING about Brees' shoulder. This IMO is disproves the theory that no news is good news. We hear more about Palmer's status than Drew's. Bottom line; Saban chose wisely.

    Brees is throwing about 80 footballs daily his recovery is fine and he should be ready to go aswell...

    Dante says he will be ready barring... It's a new offense to him, so ready may not be enough. However, I wouldn't bet against him without additional information.
