Thinking about it.... Lets say Grizz, Spurs, Clips, OKC, GS, Houston are the top seeds then Portland, minny, lakers, mavs, pelicans fight for two spots. Sound about right?

I think we are a playoff team. But best case 7th seed and worst case 8th seed at this point for me.

There's always a team that dissapoints. It was Lakers last year, Dallas the year before. There's also teams that end up surprising, like GSW did last year. I think we'll surprise a lot of people this year.

But the Wolves are the Wolves, i wouldn't be surprised if they still didn't make the playoffs.

If the team was stronger at the center position I'd be more optimistic

I think it will be tough but should slide in 8 spot. Trading for Asik would put us over hump

Not if Kobe misses the first couple months (which is possible).

I think minny makes it too so means we are out if lakers get in. However I don't see lakers making it.

I think New Orleans could be a "sleeper" team ... not to win it all or anything, but be good enough to get to the playoffs and maybe get out of the first round which would be a dramatic turn around considering where they ended up in the standings last year, to round it out I think Denver is going to be in there somewhere and the Blazers could also be in that 8th to 6th seed range.

New Orleans has absolutely no chance of making the playoffs.

In the East - no question.
In the West - very likely not.

I think we're near the top of the list for teams likely to get the 7th/8th seed this year, anything more hinges mostly on Lillard or some crazy health related fall from another top team.

Depends - New improved Batum of injured Batum? With the former we are formidable, with the later we miss again.

Lakers will tank. They will probably get the top 3 pick. Mavs will probably tank too. Both those teams want cap space in 2015 to go after lebron.

Nuggets losing George Karl and Iggy won't beat us out. I expect the tpups to be injured again; so they won't be a factor.

I think we are at least a top 5 team.

It is interesting how much we have valued Asik through this process and other teams and their fans have not.

I love Asik. U remember looking up at Houston box scores and see a double double almost every night lots with 10-15 rebounds on avg
