<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">All of Eddy Curry's teammates already had dressed and vanished into the New York night by the time the Knicks' burly center emerged from the training room. Curry's latest injury is a sore right thigh to go along with his sore left ankle. But on this night, as much as anything else, Curry was suffering from a severe case of wounded pride. The player once touted as Baby Shaq played more like Shaq-lite during Saturday's demoralizing 109-98 loss to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets. He was ignored by his teammates, ineffective when he did get the ball and was booed by the home fans for the first time since joining the team. "It's been rough," Curry said of his recent slide. "But it's going to get better. That's the beauty of the NBA. There's always another game." Curry sounded frustrated when asked to explain why he plays like an MVP in the first five minutes only to become more and more invisible as time passes. "I feel like when we go out in the beginning of the game the point of emphasis is to get me going," he said. "As the game wears on, we tend to shy away from that. I have to do my part in being more vocal and trying to talk to the guards."</div> New York Daily News I agree. The Knicks must do a better job feeding the post. Many times they telegraph entry passes into the post and then get discouraged when it gets stolen. Curry is a 54% shooter, so we should definitely try to get Curry more touches.
