<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Curry not cleared for physical activity CHICAGO ? Chicago Bulls center Eddy Curry failed to receive clearance from doctors to resume physical activity after undergoing tests in Minnesota for his irregular heartbeat, team officials said. Curry, 22, experienced arrhythmia March 28 and March 30, sidelining him for the rest of the regular season and playoffs. Bulls spokesman Tim Hallam told the Chicago Sun-Times that doctors in Minnesota and the team's doctors decided not to clear Curry. "The doctors' information has to be diagnosed and compared, and it's taking longer than (the media) would like," Hallam said. "But it's a process." The Chicago Tribune, citing unnamed team sources, reported Wednesday that tests taken Monday in Minnesota revealed little change in the size of Curry's heart from those performed April 12. Had the heart shrunk, it might have signified the arrhythmia was related to exercise and not a structural issue. Bulls general manager John Paxson did not return calls Wednesday to The Associated Press. In Curry's fourth season, he averaged a team-high 16.1 points and was third in rebounding at 5.4 per game. He is a restricted free agent this summer, meaning the Bulls have the right to match any offer Curry receives. That is assuming the rules under the next collective bargaining agreement don't change drastically from those under the current agreement, which expires at the end of June. </div> http://www.usatoday.com/sports/basketball/...-notebook_x.htm
