The event gave fans an opportunity to give Scottie Pippen a standing ovation?started by Tyson Chandler from the dais?coach Bill Cartwright to guarantee a playoff berth and Eddy Curry to respond to growing sentiment that he can be the best center in the Eastern Conference. Toronto coach Kevin O'Neill is the latest voice in that chorus. That Curry deflected emcee Neil Funk's attempt to get him to sing along is a good sign considering the following: Curry missed his first nine shots against Memphis on Thursday and was outplayed early by Jake Tsakalidis?Jake Tsakalidis!?before rebounding to finish with a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds). Cartwright and Pippen addressed Curry's exhibition finale in blunt terms, making it clear that the Bulls will only go as far as Curry, Chandler and Jamal Crawford take them this season. "[Thursday] night, Curry was horrible," Cartwright said. "I think I can say that because I said that to him. It's something we have to address and be very stern with. </div> I don't think 11 points and 10 rebounds is too bad. Once we can get him to rebound AND score, we'll be set I'm sure he won't get beat by Jake Tsakalidis anymore (let's hope!).
haha Jake Tsakalidis hehehe. Jake will be good probably. And yes, Eddy Curry needs to rebound. There is no reason why he can't average at least 10 rebounds. He's big and can jump high fior a big man
im expecting a break out season for him...that's why i moved heaven and earth to get him for my fantasy team...hehehe
