Curry Update Post Hawks Visit <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> The Atlanta Hawks rolled out the red carpet Thursday when Bulls center Eddy Curry arrived for his two-day visit. The Hawks chauffeured Curry in a limo, booked him a suite in a five-star hotel and brought him to Philips Arena, where the restricted free agent was treated to a video on the arena's giant monitors of some of his high school heroics at Thornwood. ''That would be great to come here and try to fill that [low-post center] void [and] try to help rebuild this team,'' Curry told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. ''I had a lot of down times in Chicago. But for the most part, once you start winning, it all clears up and you feel good about your whole situation. ''They really had us thinking that once the season was over, they were going to lock their players up. This part I don't even worry about. I've just got to keep working hard, doing what I'm doing, getting myself right so when training camp comes around, I'm ready to go. Not thinking that far ahead, [but] I definitely think if I ended up here and had to go back to Chicago, they'd know what they were missing. They know how I do.'' Curry also talked and dined with general manager Billy Knight. Today, he will do more of the same and might get examined by Hawks doctors before he attends a concert by Destiny's Child. According to a league source, if Curry does not get examined today, he will on a second visit the Hawks are planning.</div> Link Is it just me or does it appear he is starting to warm up to the idea of being a Hawk more, because before the visit he said he would not even see himself any were but Chi-town. Now he does not seem to have that same optimism for his return to Chicago.
