He apologized for getting ejected and for his post-game comments in the Washington game on Saturday." Morning Journal "After getting ejected -- he said for the first time in his career -- Jones referred to official Mark Ayotte and said he was acting ''out of spite'' against the Cavaliers. He said he was sorry to Ayotte and NBA director of officials Ronnie Nunn. A league source said he didn't think Jones would be fined." Morning Journal ''It was truly unprofessional,'' Jones said. ''I acted out of frustration. I want to apologize to the people who were watching. I don't want to be portrayed as a guy who loses his cool. I don't want to be a negative influence on the kids out there watching who think I'm a great and handsome guy. I accept the ramifications for my actions.''</div> I love Damon Jones' personality. He is a very funny guy, and I don't understand why people don't like him. He's easily one of the funniest guys in the league, and he always can make someone laugh. LMAO "I don't want to be a negative influence on the kids out there watching who think I'm a great and handsome guy."
I like his personality. It is just his lack of, "everything defense" that drives me crazy. He is really funny though, that and the fact that his shot is starting to fall this year is the only reason I am not complaining about him all the time. He says some good quotes, like when he said, "I am the best shooter in the world- period." He was also completely serious, which made me laugh.
