Why is it that everyone gets real worked up when Christians say they should boycott the Da Vince Code movie, yet no one says anything when Muslims go burning buildings and uttering death threats because of the Muhammed picture? I mean, the government of Denmark had to apologize, yet no such thing for the Christians.
I'm sort of lost here but are you saying why aren't Muslims burning buildings/issuing death threats not getting the same attention that Christians boycotting the Da Vinci Code are? Because I think they are, the Da Vinci Code/Christian thing really was that big of a deal, most people knew it was a bunch of crap and didn't take it seriously. But I don't think it got more attention then what happened with the Muhammed picture. I've heard both on the news and talked about.
Thats because we expect Christians not to act as violently and stupid as those extreme muslims. It's apples and oranges.I think those muslims got ripped harder than the nutty Christians did...but everyone acted all politicly correct with the Muslims so they would just go away.

Blow stuff up, for all I care. But why do you attack people who support your argument? Bush and others in his administration said that it was wrong what happened, yet the US still was accused of not supporting Islam in this. They just look for anything to kill people; it's sick and sad. Worse than that, what's more hypocritical than suicide bombing to protest a bombhat Mohammed drawing?Christians don't react the same way. They voice their opinions and move on, because that's the way their faith tells them to act. If they do anything worse, it's because they are nutso, not because their religion supports it. There have been much worse parodies of Jesus in the media (see: Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter (movie) and Raptor Jesus (internet meme)), yet you don't see Christians blowing up stuff over that, do ya?There was a good 2 parter on South Park that satirized this situation.

I pointed out in another thread that those idiots in the Middle East who are going around killing people are not true followers of Islam. They are the extremists who are falsely twisting the words of the religion in order to "justify" their own vendetta against their enemies. They are the few (less than 5% of all Muslims) crazy people who, unfortunately, are giving all Muslims a bad name.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BCB @ Jun 15 2006, 09:57 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Don't listen to him...he's an idiot. A cartoon is an extreme circumstance?</div>No, I never stated that the cartoon was an extreme circumstance. The circumstances that the Quran talks about is if there is a physical attack against the religion and/or the prophet, and then it also states to try various other peaceful methods PRIOR to resorting to violence.I covered all this in that "Is Islam evil?" thread a few weeks ago...Jeez, before people are so quick to judge a certain religion, why not take the time to read the Quran (or even parts of it) instead of relying on quotes taken out of context and the biased media coverage. I'm not talking about you personally, but there have been so many of these types of threads, and then when their little theories are discredited they just shut-up for a few weeks and then start it up again. You just can't explain things to some people...Again, like I have said so many times, less than 5% of Muslims in the world are committing these terroristic and evil actions, yet the entire religion is now perceived to be evil. But hey, I guess the fact that there are the same amount of Christians out there committing heinous actions doesn't mean Christianity is evil, right? Talk about double-standard (and obviously media bias plays a role in it).

Yeah..you know...all those extreme Christian groups killing hundreds of people with bombs, I wish the U.S. and western media would stop covering them up.

It means peace...<span style="font-size:36pt;line-height:100%">ALRITE, LET ME TELL YOU WHY CONSIDERING ISLAM AS EXTREMISM IS BAD...</span>Most people would agree there are less than 50,000 terrorists on this planet that call themselves Muslim. More like 30,000, but whatever. So people call Muslims extremists. (look at the replies I quoted)...and in America, there are probably tens of thousands of criminals..."Also in 2004, there were a reported 590,258 arrests for all violent crimes and 1,649,825 arrests for all property crimes, out of a total 14,004,327 arrests for all offenses." -http://www.drugwarfacts.org/crime.htmAnd in America..."Protestant 52%, Roman Catholic 24%, Mormon 2%" -http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.htmlSo we can assume most of the crimes are commited by Christians...so why can't I call America a criminalized-country? Exactly.
How about enough of this Christians/Muslims bullcrap. You all have your own beliefs, quit arguing about it, because there's no end to it, so what's the point. No religion is above any other.
i remember someone here told me religion brought people together.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. people are fighting about it all the time. i completely support BigMo on this subject.MVP poster BigMo

Ok - put this whole argument to the side and look at the real fact(s):Muslim's can NOT kill, or harm any innocent person - those who do are simply NOT Muslim! This is FACT!Those terrorists (in Iraq for example) who claim that they are killing for the sake of their religion or their "Jihad" are totally wrong - they are simply killing because they believe that they are the enemies. They are NOT Muslim.also a FACT!Most importantly: the religion of Islam does not preach hate, or violence! FACT!
