As previously posted, WWE is also running a three-brand house show the night before the Survivor Series in Fort Myers, FL. - WWE is expected to announce an updated Wellness Policy soon, one that will theoretically close up some of the loopholes in the current policy. There will be some changes made to the policy besides having provisions for marijuana being tested and that all names of failures will be listed on the company's website. - WWE's April U.K. tour looks to be off to a good start. The 4/11 show in Liverpool has already officially sold out, as has the 4/19 SmackDown/ECW show in Glasgow. At last report, the 4/12 show in Cardiff is close to selling out. Rourke will play Randy "The Ram" Robinson," a role that Nicolas Cage had reportedly been set to play. There was no word Sunday as to why he had left the project. Aronofsky and Robert Siegel wrote the script for "The Wrestler," about an over-the-hill grappler who returns to the ring for one last shot at glory. Rourke, who once took time away from his screen career to become a boxer, has been enjoying a film resurgence that began with "Man on Fire" and "Sin City." The problem is many talents who are set to be repackaged are usually never heard from again as they are released eventually. There is talk that Diva Search winner Eve Torres may be put into Extreme Expose, but after the Kelly vs. Layla match on ECW last week, WWE may be moving towards breaking the group up. WWE officials were never high on Layla because her look isn't what they really want out of their Divas and she doesn't really have wrestling skills to fall back on because she was never given time on the road to practice her in-ring skills. WWE gave Layla a contract based on how over she was in the 2006 Diva Search. - WWE.com has a new feature up on Snitsky in what looks like another attempt to get him over. They're calling him the "Hottest Superstar" in all of 2007 as he hasn't been pinned yet. The Divas section are an important and high trafficked part of WWE.com. One source in WWE creative is saying that the removal of the Divas from the site was not something that creative wanted to do and there is some kind of behind the scenes issue that the company is trying to work out regarding the WWE Divas being on the site. The disc is 540 minutes long and features his career in and out of the ring with exclusive interviews and more. This will be the second Cena DVD that WWE has released. -- Universal Studios, where TNA's programming is taped, is teaming up with WWE for the WrestleMania/Universal travel package.
