The Seattle SuperSonics are looking to deal for a veteran starting center. The team lost Robert Swift for the season because of a knee injury and haven't gotten production from replacements currently on the roster.
The Detroit Pistons' Dale Davis is a possible candidate.

One scenerio for this would be Dale and little used Lindsey Hunter for the expiring contract of Danny Fortson.

I personally think a better option would be to trade Fortson (read that "expiring contract") to Minny for Mark Blount. The Sonics need scoring up front, and The Timberpups are going to have to get some help for Garnett if they want to keep him around.

I like this for us, Dale is at the end of his career, realisticly he has at most one more season in him, Fortson would provide us with an inside rebounding prescense we lost in Ben Wallace for the time being and his expiring contract would be useful in re signing Chauncey. I wouldnt mind losing out on Hunter either, should free up even more minutes for Flip and Delfino.
