    Notes:

The Sonics face yet another steep challenge as the 50-28 Dallas Mavericks, who have had the Sonics' number all season with a 3-0 advantage, enter the Key for Saturday's early afternoon game. Rashard Lewis returns from the injured list while the ferocious rebounding motor known as Reggie Evans will take the game off to attend his deceased grandmother's funeral (thoughts and prayers with him of course). An interesting side story is that recent Supersonics signee Leon Smith will play against the team he gained his first pro experience with before a suicide attempt, two arrests and several disputes with the coaching staff.

Probably another formality in this one, as Dallas look to run into some form going into the playoffs. Ansu Sesay and Leon Smith should see some decent minutes in this one, while I'd be surprised if Brent or Rashard play more than 25 or so minutes.

I'll take Mavs by 17. There aren't many teams that can stop the Mavs right now, and I don't think Seattle can keep up with Dallas's scoring. Over their last 7 games they've gone for 117 or more. They rarely keep under 100.

This one will be a good one to watch, but the Mavs are at home they want to keep their NBA leage best record, so they are going to fight.

It's actually a Seattle home game, but that shouldn't make much difference other than the colours on the court.

The Sonics pull off a shocking upset, beating the Mavs 119-99 (yes THAT IS a 20 point win). Rashard Lewis lead the scoring charge with 25 points while Brent Barry chipped in 18 points and 7 assists and Ray Allen added 17 points. Marquis Daniels lead the Mavs with 33 points and Antawn Jamison had 22/10.

Props to Luke Ridnour. One game does not makest a player, but a career high of 13 assists to go with 16 points will give him a lot of confidence going into next season, and into the last two games of the season where he will be starting. A good win, surprised how badly Dallas played - Seattle shot 58%, and it wasn't just because they were i n a 48 minute warpzone.
