By Bryan Hoch / MLB.com NEW YORK -- A.J. Burnett took a pounding and walked off the field in the fourth inning to a chorus of boos on Wednesday, as the Yankees suffered a 6-3 loss to the Phillies at Yankee Stadium. Burnett was rocked for six runs on six hits in 3 1/3 innings, surrendering the ball to manager Joe Girardi after his final pitch went for an infield single when Burnett did not get to first base in time. Philadelphia roughed up Burnett for four runs in a loud second inning, highlighted by Shane Victorino's three-run triple up the gap in right-center field. Ryan Howard and Jayson Werth got Burnett for solo home runs in the third inning, the 11th for each, and Burnett struggled more in the fourth inning before yielding to Boone Logan, who hurled 2 2/3 innings of hitless ball. Burnett walked four and struck out three, throwing a wild pitch. Phillies left-hander Jamie Moyer limited the Yankees to a pair of solo home runs off the bats of Robinson Cano and Jorge Posada, and did not have to work out of the stretch until the seventh inning, when Alex Rodriguez walked. Cano put New York on the board in the second with his 14th home run of the year and his Major League-leading eighth off a left-hander, and Posada connected for a solo shot to left field off Moyer in the fifth, his ninth.
