I know this has been posted in another podcast thread, but man..... just listen to him talk. He's going to have a career in broadcasting after this.

The stuff he's saying in the podcast with Redick is so cool to listen to. He said he thinks he can play longer because young guys don't study the game anymore.

You are right. Nice find. Thanks. That jj Redick was awesome. i listened to the whole thing last night.

Sounds like Dame owes alot of his success to his asst coach at Weber state.

But there is one thing that bothers me. And really just solidified me on wanting a coaching change. Dame mentioned that when he wasnt on in the first half against the Celtics, he said he was going to take Tatum on D coming out in the seconds half.

Then JJ asked how often he switches things up coming out for the second half and he said not alot, but he will usually make some sort of change. Pick the ball up, to pick up the pace, or start down the other side of the court, etc.

Im sorry,. but this is the coach's call. The coach should be the one making these calls. I love Dame. He is everything. But He needs a coach that will take control and knows his game enough to control his star player and not let his star player dictate who guards who on defense.

That's just BS to me. We all know Terry is a players coach, but thats too much. Id even concede allowing him some control in dictating the offensive flow, but Dame SHOULD NOT BE CALLING DEFENSIVE ASSIGNMENTS OVER THE COACH.

Kinda pissed me off listening to it if you cant tell. LOL.

I think he was talking about Vanterpool on the Blazers. Are you thinking of when he was talking about learning all the plays?
