Let me start by saying I think Scoot is going to remind everyone of the young MVP Derrick Rose. The comparison looks to me like a goo done. He's going to be the team's star for the next decade or more.

I have no issues with management. I have no issues with Dame wanting a trade. I don't see how Miami gets a deal done that is good for anyone but them and Dame.

So with that in mind, there have been rumors for a while now that the Bulls have been looking at offers for Zach LaVine. Portland is never mentioned, but it seems like the start of a very good trade for both sides would be with Dame for LaVine as the starting point. I bet the Bulls would love to get Nurk as well.

The salaries may not match up enough, so filler would be needed. LaVine might not be enough on his own, but taking Nurk in the trade might mitigate some of that. The Bulls have a low draft pick in Patrick Williams that they might include. Draft picks are tough for them to offer since they traded a lot of them already.

I'll be lurking, as usual. Just haven't seen this scenario discussed.

The starting 2 spot this year belongs to either Shaedon (ideally) or Anfernee. So we’d have no use for Lavine.

Lavine also doesn’t fit on a rebuilding timeline.

ZL is 28 and every young team needs a couple vets that can lead. ZL has heart and drive that is needed to rub off on the youngsters too. Anf needs to be traded for another front court player. It wouldn't hurt Shae to swing 2/3 and he would get 30 plus a night if earned.
ZL can hit the big shot and is athletic too. Him & Scoot in the back court would be double trouble.

Is Zach Lavine a leader? Just because he’s 28 doesn’t mean he can lead. Is Jeremi grant a leader? He’s 28 too.

Also, if we’re going to trade for another scoring guard who can’t play D, why not just grab Herro? Younger and with a better contract.

I would much rather have Simmons.
Both have had injury issues, and both are around the same age (Ben is one year younger) but as pointed out we don't need an SG, we need a forward who can defend. The fact that he could also be our backup PG makes it even better.

Would prefer to prioritize defense in acquisitions to start a new era with this team especially if Ant is still on the roster. Lavine seems to only play defense in the Olympics and is much more of a 2 that likes the ball in his hands.

He’s a talkative player who can help lead and motivate.
    Scoot is talkative as well.

ZL is a better on ball defender than Dame or Simons.

At this time I'd consider it. Depends upon what filler comes back from Chicago. Lavine would give us a vet starting unit and the rookies could turn into the best bench in the league..how many years is left on Zach's contract? Who's replacing Nurk as our only 7ftr? Hope you're enjoying retirement Denny! I sure am!

I'd rather have Ben Simmons and picks.

Who else would be involved? I like LeVine. He does have 4 years left on his contract but he is an all star. Once again we’d be discussing starting Sharpe at SF? So I just wonder if it’d be the best option? I like Dame and Nurk to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Ben Simmons, Finny Smith and picks? Or Toronto but I would want Barnes.

We gave the Bulls Michael Jordan. Wasn’t that enough?

Dame Lillard is no Mike Jordan.....but he is an All Star fan favorite nation wide.
LeVine and Scoot in the back court would be wild. ZL is 6'5 too.
