    I would do that. However id try to trade Bledsoe and Milwaukee 25’ for Grant and use the pick this year.
    Let OKC have 7 for Dort and 12.
    Trade 2025 1st and Bledsoe for Grant. Draft at 12.

    Out: #7 pick/2025 1st/Bledsoe

    A BILLION PERCENT YES. This is EXACTLY the kind of player we need to start with Dame. He’s an elite defender. The only way to win a title with Dame is to surround him with elite defenders. And he’s only 23. Next step should be to get Jonathan Issac if he’s healthy.

    Dame/Dort/Grant/Isaac/Nurk is a Top 5 defense.

    Hart is a better player than Dort and 2" taller. Hart gets more steals per game and shoots better.

    Dort as a 6th to 8th man? Sure. Grant is gettable on his own without 7, otherwise he costs too much. So, no.

    As @wizenheimer pointed out the other day, Dort is basically a carbon copy of Marcus Smart. If you know that and plan around the expected limitations, he can be a very effective piece.
