Would you rather have OG so much that you'd give up the 7th and the TPE or would you only do it if the Raptors took Bledsoe along with the 7th?I think I’d rather have OG.

If your answer is Bledsoe then we could do both.
That's an interesting take on Ayton. I think he is so much more athletic and probably more of a beast than our Bosnian friend on both ends of the court.Bledsoe.
But I was more just giving my opinion of which player I would covet more.
I could see Ayton coming to Portland being no better than Nurkic.

I think Ayton is better and I know Ayton is younger. I’m in. Esp if we get Crowder in the deal.Bledsoe.

Why would they want Nurk?
Hence the risk of blowing a chunk of cash on him. I like to think Dame could change his attitude but I know that is wishful thinking. Was my first question. However, Remember Ayton would not even play at the end of that playoff series. He is not real happy where he happens to be right now.
At least that is the word i have read?
I guess if you think that Nurk isn't worth 17M then this deal would be laughable to Phoenix but the word is they have no interest in paying Ayton the max but not that they don't value bigs at all. Getting Nurk for around half the price, getting Hart, a future first and a future second would be good enough value for a signed and traded Ayton and Crowder but only if Phoenix is still interested in retaining a traditional big.Ayton has All Star potential. Nurk would never get a single vote. Dame has to be helped out with all star caliber players. Look at the finals: Curry Wiggins Klay Green. Those are all nba guys. Smart Tatum Brown also all nba guys. You have to take chances. GSW took a huge chance on Wiggins and it paid off.
That said Phx would laugh at this. Why would they want Nurk?
Joe has given himself a lot of hypothetical ways that he might make up for two trades in which he gave up talent for flexibility as a small market GM. If he makes some of those hypotheticals real or even one good enough hypothetical a reality that this team is better than it was season before last then no he's not a bad GM and the rest of us didn't have the vision he did.So I'm reading this thread and I take away that we could trade Nurk (In a heartbeat) Hart, Bledsoe (Who has never played here) and a couple picks and we get-
DeAndre Ayton
Jae Crowder
and
OG Anunoby
To put along side of Lillard, Simons, Nassir Little, Joe Ingles (remember that guy), Keon Johnson, Drew Eubanks, Greg Brown, Trendon Watford, Winslow, CJ Elleby
Looking at that roster? How could you say that isn't a huge upgrade?
That roster might even compete?
Remember- This is all possible at this point. Maybe not probable but certainly possible.
Are we all still calling Joe Cronin a bad GM?
Without doing that the trade doesn't work under the CBA because of BYC shit. We can't take back Gobert's 30M for Nurk's 17M because we don't have the cap space to do that... unless we just let Hart walk, Ingles walk and all we do in the draft is pick and keep the 7th pick. We would also lose 13M of our big TPE because a lopsided trade eats into the biggest TPE you have just like signing new free agents does. Why do we have to include Hart and Crowder? Do you think they would prefer Hart to Crowder?
