This kinds sucks but at least his replacement, Hochstein, played most of the game Vs. Tenn at right guard and most of the buffalo game. The D-line for Tenn is much better than Indy's so he should be ok. This could become a problem though should we move on and have to face Carolina because of their front 4. The eagles d-line is suspect besides simon and he would be doubled up a lot anyways.

On another note we could possibly have seen woody's last game as a patriot. Especially if Hochstein plays well. He is young and will be much cheaper than Woody. Plus Koppen has cemented himself as the center of the future for the pats. I doubt compton will be back either since he is also more expensive, has been injured, and is getting old. Regardless I like our situation on the line for the Indy game and the future. It just sucks losing a veteren like woody at this point.

While I agree with you that his loss shouln't affect us greatly in the AFC title game. I feel both Car. & Phi have stronger DLs. Darwin Walker is an animal. Obviously Car.'s is better, but Philly's isn't as bad as you think. IMO, their poor run D comes from a weak LB core.

Your right about their LB's. Without Emmons they are lost. As for Phillys D-line I don't think their terrible but they don't have a great pass rush and are milddle of the pack IMO.
