The years fly by too quickly now. Shocking that we're looking at 2024. The 2014 cup run doesn't seem like it was ten years ago.

Feels like the morons in charge are going to waste another Hall of Fame goalie.

Supposedly Drury said Lafreniere will get a look at RW during training camp. If so, goes to show the complete incompetence of this organization.

Absolutely correct making a young kid change his position instead of one of the fucking overpaid useless vets.

Hopefully Laf shows up in shape and flying around the ice ready to shoot whenever he's open. He should make it inexcusable to limit his ice time.

If the Rangers are to do anything serious this season Laf, Kakko and Chytil will need to be a big part of it. If not it will just be the same exact results. Probably with Tarasenko coming over again for the playoffs and another early exit.

Hope all you guys had a good summer. Almost hockey time. Just checked tix for the home opener (never miss one)....against the Coyotes? On a fucking Monday? What the hell bettman

Saw this quote from Trouba on Vince M's timeline: Trouba on Laviolette's impact: "The attitude he brings, the energy, the enthusiasm – I think there's a little direction. I think that’s good for us... It's up to the players, but I think early on, he's given us all the tools that we need to be successful."

Really goes back to the discussions we had on GG after the Devils series and some of the quotes from those guys. Lavi is going to bring some needed structure. He wasn't my first choice at all, but he is probably the right type of coach for what this team needs.

Other notable development is Laf on the right day 1. We'll see if that sticks.

It will be interesting to see the difference in coaching styles especially on breakouts and special teams but the bottom line is Lav is here to take the Rangers to the Cup.

Gallant had no defense of system, which is why I always gets fired. That and he doesn’t hold veterans accountable.
