I am not going to get overly excited but win or lose this team is going to be so much more fun to watch and support this year - thanks mgmt and Mr Stotts for the very welcome and needed changes! It's one game but great to see Nic and Wes thrive in this new offense, and our new PG run it so well for a rook in his first NBA reg season game. My hope this year is that we can at least compete for the last playoff spot!
Couldn't have said it better myself. Playoffs would be nice, but I just want to see everyone stay healthy and continue to get better. I think Aldridge, Lillard, and Batum could be our new "Big Three" and those guys have the talent to compete with anyone in the league. We just need to strengthen our bench.
That is something you couldn't say last year, even if we are as bad this year, at least we have young players to watch grow now.
