According to this Associated Press story, Damon Huard was injured on Thursday and didn't participate in practice earlier today. Geez, I wonder if Carl Peterson still has Steve DeBerg's phone number. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/foot...d.ap/index.html

Herm has the worst "luck" with qbs... hopefully his wife has some good ideas for him this week if Huard cant play, although our D should at least keep us in this one if Croyle has to play
Huard managed to play and play well. The guy knows how to win. Herm Edwards says that the starting job is still Trent Green's, but something tells me that Green might wind up on a short leash when he gets back if he doesn't come in and produce immediately.

Huard has done really well in Green's absence, if Green comes back healthy and doesn't do what Huard has been doing for the team the past few weeks, I don't think Green will be in for long. Although I don't think they should take Huard out of there at all if Green comes back anyway, simply because of the way he has played.
