NO! NOT IF IT INVOLVES KYLE KORVER!

If KK is involved, I will forever hate Billy King. Send Bucker or something... NOT KORVER!

Well, you have to give up SOMETHING !
You don't get a player like Dampier for a piece of cake and a glass of water.

I'm just going to post the important paragraph becuase I bleieve some may have trouble getting to it like I did because I'm at work. But hell yeah I would love this because the 76ers would have a intimidating lineup and alot of muscle.

The Sixers traded Eric Snow to Cleveland for Kevin Ollie and Kedrick Brown. Yes, Snow's older, his skills are diminishing and he has a long-term contract, but Billy King couldn't get better than this? There are a lot of teams that could use a solid point guard (Houston?). We were thinking that because Philly now has some extra cash and way more contracts than their roster can hold, another, bigger move must be on the way right? Then we heard that San Francisco sports radio was reporting that the Sixers and Warriors were going to pull off a sign-and-trade that would send Erick Dampier to Philly for Glenn Robinson and Kyle Korver. That would be a great move for Philly, and before you kill Mully for it, think about what Golden State would get out of the deal. Even though they lose a lot of height, they get a scorer in Big Dogg (when he feels like it) a shooter in Korver, and Dogg is in the last year of his contract. That's a better deal than the garbage package that Isiah is reportedly offering of Nazr Mohammaed and Othella Harrington. ...

You really can't look at the players because of how good of a person they are and how much they want to stay in Philly. You gotta remember that the NBA is a buisness and pretty much anybody is expendable and replaceable. Korver is a good 3 point shooter but that's really all he does. Buckner is is more of an all round player that actually plays defense. I think this trade would definitely help the 76ers and give Sammie some slack down low.

Iguodala? Doubt it. Why not just take Derrick Coleman off our hands? LOL

Korver barely got time to prove himself to the team. We always do this with players and trade them away. Korver is a rookie and deserves more time with us. He's a great 3-point shooter (something we definitley lack in) and I think he should stay. Just MO. I'm sick of Billy always trading my favorite players away (i.e. : Snow, Van Horn, etc.). Korver is also a Philly favorite at the games.

Well Van Horn is a straight inconsistent bum who should have never been here in the 1st place. Korver is a good player and I'm not taking that away form him, it's just now I think King just see Korver not fitting in the push the rock style of play this year w/ in your face defense.

Don't worry ... you would soon get over KK if we got Erick Dampier. With him the Sixers would have a legitimate shot at the NBA finals.

So this trade excites you guys? I bet you only wish you had Shaq back in 01. You would have had a better chance at winning the Championship.

This deal is risky for Sixers as they get a player who played for a big contract last year but if Damp will play like he did few years ago? Sixers lose Korver who's a great shooter but with this trade Sixers can compete with Pistons and Pacers,Heat,If Damp would play like he did last season,I say we have a good chance at the EC finals.

Guess I couldn't judge this until it comes true. I'd still be a Korver fan no matter what. I'm just sick of mainly Billy taking my favorite players and shipping them off after 1 year... besides E Snow.

I don't like this idea. I would rather go for Walker, but if that wasn't to work out then yes, I'd do this trade, since it's the only option out there now. I would like to get rid of Korver in a heart beat, he isn't a good player. He has his moments when he'll light you up with his threes, but that's it, we need guys that have an overall good game, or close to it. He does not, and I don't want to keep on giving him money just so he can improve slightly in the next 2-3 years. I would rather get some proven players then offer him time to build.

On the other hand, what does his realtions with the city of Philadelphia have to do with anything. The NBA is a business, always was, always will be. Trading away a guy that takes up 12 minutes of our game time is not such a bad thing. I don't care if he looks like Ashton Kutcher, is a nice guy, gives out autographs. All in all I don't care about off the court distraction, and I hope the front staff doesn't either. I follow basketball because of the competition, and Philadelphia could be a serious contender for the top spots in the eastern conference if we were to keep on with our building process. He can be nicest guy in the league but if he doesn't do what we expect, then ship him somewhere.

Pretty soon I won't be suprised if the 6ers ship out Salmons knowing how Mr. Billy King's head works.

To tell you the truth, I would rather see Salmons go instead of KK. It is close but I love KKs shooting. Losing either one would be hard but you don't get cake for crackers.

Another thought I had on this is ...

It is hard to believe that OB would go for this. He wants perimeter shooters and giving up KK and Grob is giving up the 2 best shooters on the team. It just doesn't seem like OK would do that.

Exactly. OB loves the 3 point shot. Why trade Korver?

I would deffiantly go for Walker instead,Damp had one good year and I dont think he would stay consistant for for 2 or more years.

Trading KK wouldnt be that big of a deal,he can shoot but he doesnt have any offense besides that and he can create his own shot.
