<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The more Erick Dampier's options dwindle, the better chance the Indiana Pacers have of landing him. Eventually. Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh is "monitoring" the situation regarding Dampier, who played his rookie season in Indiana before being traded to Golden State for Chris Mullin, who is now the Warriors' general manager. The Pacers are unlikely to reacquire Dampier in a trade with the Warriors, but they haven't given up hope of obtaining him. Or anyone else for that matter.</div> Source
I have no reason to not want him, but i don't wanna give the warriors much for him...so maybe picks and stuff....
Nope, cause we are trading him to Philly for Glen Robinson and Kyle Korver. To quote Dond "you dont get cake for crackers". If you have no reason to want Damp, then you have no reason to want to win an NBA title. If the Pacers had Damp, you could effectively guard Shaq better than anyone else in the east, let alone dominate Ben Wallace and the Pistons (like GS did last year). That alone would make the Pacers the favorite to win at least the EC finals if not all of it...
