Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson will return for a 17th season in 2012-13, the team announced Tuesday. A six-time All-Star who won the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie in 1996, Alfredsson has spent his entire career with the Senators. The native of Sweden has been the Senators' captain since 1999.
