They have been caught again but beause the rules are a joke they will get away with it AGAIN. They tried to lure Milloy last year and it backfired when he was UNDER CONTRACT and know they are doing it again but this time it is before free agency begins. They have been courting Ted Washington and know have him thinking about a payday instead of another title. Of course they deny it but we all know its true. I hope they somehow slip up and get caught and we get a draft pick or two out of it.

i read the same thing, but i think it is not a huge loss. he is kinda old and will probably hurt washington to sign him more than help

We stopped the run just as good without him but it can never hurt to have a 365-400 (who knows he won't tell) pound frame in front of your LB's. I think he has one more good year left in him.

Dan Snyder is the NFL equivalent of the NBA's Mark Cuban... Try as he might, he's not going to be able to just buy a championship. Last team to do that was the 49'ers when Steve Young got his ring.

Please don't compare Cuban to Snyder. Cuban is a jerk but at least he has a sense of humor and is articulate. In my world, that counts for something and takes some points of his JQ (Jerk quotient)

Snyder IMO is the son George Steinbrenner never knew he had.

I used to like the Redskins but then Danny boy bought them and the antics commenced. I truly wonder if Gibbs knows what he's getting into. How long did Schottenheimer last in DC? Marty & Gibbs are cut from the same cloth and tolerate little crap from anyone.

Has anyone ever noticed how all teams in the NE (w/ the exceptation of the Super Bowl champs) have been on a spending spree? If you don't rate; overcompensate.

Do they really think they are entitled to these championships or is it just greed from people w/ more many than brains or common sense?

BA the Bruins will never spend money. If they did we would have Stanley Cups coming out of our asses becuase they evaluate talant better than anyone just not willing to pay the money to get it or keep it. Other than that your right.

Hey BA, don't get me wrong... I have TONS more respect for Mark Cuban than I do for Snyder. Cuban at least knows basketball. Doesn't mean he isn't trying to buy a championship, but hey...in a money league, I guess that's what you have to do!

My main point...Snyder is a blight on NFL football.

I was not trying to dis anyone that posts here rather trying (lamely IMO) to hate the game.

I have seen Cuban on Several shows on CNBC; he is quite the entrepenuer. Snyder is something that you step in that rhymes w/ Cuban's vocation.

Pats, I did not even think about the Bruins but you are right. Boston sports franchises & fans have better perspectives than most w/ the exception of Ben Aflake. I like the Bosox & hope they beat the stuffing out of MLB's evil empire.

As for the beloved Yankees, This is one train wreck I can not wait to see. Go Braves!
