Like Pete, Mitchell, Batch, Kramer, Harrington, Orvlowski, Garcia, Kitna, or Ware? Thats a awsome list of QB's
I don't want you to think I'm hatin on Drew. I think he's the perfect developmental QB. He's a gamer and he seems to know how to get things done. But he's got a long ways to go before he's a legit NFL QB. Scrambling and running only works for so long. Ask Doug Flutie. There's a reason why Doug couldn't hold down the starting gig for very long. Once teams start scheming to stop a scrambler like Drew where he abandons his reads right away, it turns into a nightmare on offense. Against 3rd and 4th stringers, it works really well in preseason though. I'm happy with either Stafford or Culpepper starting, and I want to keep Stanton on as the 3rd QB and hopefully he can develop into that 2nd QB next year when Culpepper will be moving on. I think Stanton can add a few different wrinkles to our offense when he's in the game and can give us some match up advantages in certain situations.
