<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After a late tip and a long game, here lies the beauty of a blog. The Suns' postgame comments came too late for the final editions of the newspaper. Maybe you'd rather forget this 1-5 start and Thursday's 119-112 loss that was Dallas' first win. Forget that Phoenix is 0-6 without Raja Bell. Forget that the Suns can't hold a team under 100. Forget that Steve Nash is hurting and had 10 turnovers for the first time since November 2004, when he had 10 turnovers in his first game against Dallas after leaving there for Phoenix in free agency. Forget that they have given up 14 and 15 offensive rebounds in the past two games. Angry yet? Not as mad as Nash and coach Mike D'Antoni were after the game. We'll start with Nash, who said he did not aggravate his hip sprain any, just because he was briefer. "It's very frustrating," Nash said. "It's not a position I'm that familiar with so it's very frustrating and embarrassing to be here. "We're just not really tough enough. From the start to the finish. It's not just closing it out. I guess we've got to get sick and tired of being embarrassed about losing." D'Antoni's thoughts will take you some more time but the emotion and conviction are worth it. "First half, we just came out soft. And that's been our whole . . . Up until now, we've been soft. I think the second half we at least played with energy, not always good, but a lot of energy. If we do that, we'll be fine. Hopefully, it's a lesson. Hopefully, we know what we're doing wrong. But if we don't have a little fire, determination and passion, then we're not going to do anything. Where that came from? Hey, it starts with me. I guarantee you the next game we'll have some passion and from here on out. There's a lot of games left so we'll be fine as long as we do that." "When you're snakebit and when you don't have the passion from beginning to end, the basketball gods get you and they got us. There's no excuse for how we showed up today 1-4 and not come out so determined that it should have been a playoff game for us. It was for them. It wasn't for us and that's inexcusable. Let's do it now. Let's figure out what's wrong and fix it."</div> Source
