<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">So, can they get up, dust off and make a playoff run? Suns coach Mike D'Antoni is practically making it a resolution. First, he notes the club will have power forward Amare Stoudemire and rookie Zarko Cabarkapa back soon after that trip, probably for a Jan. 13 game against Denver. Second, the Suns get three more shots at almost all of the teams between them and a playoff spot. Assuming that San Antonio, the Lakers, Sacramento, Minnesota and Dallas are going to end up in the top five in some order, that realistically leaves three spots for the rest of the West to scuffle over. The Suns have three games remaining against Denver, Utah, Portland and Memphis. They have two home games each against Denver, Utah and Portland and are 1-0 against Memphis. </div> That's a very interesting article giving light on the Suns' hopes for the playoffs. Looking at the information provided here I don't see any reason why the Suns shouldn't make it into the playoffs, assuming they play well against the other teams (which is asking a lot from this team). The article also gives light on when Amare and Zarko will return. Link: http://www.nba.com/suns/news/azcentral_040101.html
