Who do you guys think is the best Dark Horse in the league right now? ESPN's Michael Smith thinks the Vikings are http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs04/c...tory?id=1957783

I unfortunately have to disagree, as much as I like hearing this pick. Any team with a 30th ranked pass defense is not good enough to make a run in the playoffs. I can see the Vikings maybe beating the Packers in the first round, but then quickly exiting the playoffs.

The San Diego Super Chargers seem to be the sexy pick among analysts, but they could go the way of the Seahawks early predictions.

I personally think the Rams are the best dark horse in the playoffs right now. They have a good spirit about them and still have loads of talent on that team. Plus, they have something of a defense.

The Rams have a defense? Other than Archuleta & Little, they are a bunch of talentless clods.

As for spirit, They are as arrogant as they were in 2000. Though, they have very little to justify the 'tude. It will be a pleasure to see these jokers fall.

My dark horse: Green Bay. Packers have experience, talent, & the right attitude.

I'm not sure if you can call Green Bay a dark horse since they are the 3rd seed...not exactly underdogs in this whole thing.

And regarding the defense, they are good enough to win games, unlike the Vikings who just pray that the opponents screw up the final snap of an extra point to win or tie the game.

I agree that the VIKINGS are the Dark Horse right now. I expect a WAR on Sunday...and I'm not confident at all that the Packers will win. Beating a division opponent three times in the same year is almost impossible.

I will be holding my breath all day Sunday. Good luck, vikingfan!

Actually teams that won the first 2 win the third 66% of the time
