A nonfactor for the Eagles last season, Darren Howard rededicated himself to his craft.

I'm glad he's finally getting his act together. There was some talk that he was on the bubble to make the roster before training camp started, but I'm glad we kept him. He's been looking pretty good this season, and hopefully he will continue this type of play. He's been a disappointment ever since he became an Eagle, so I'm glad we're finally hearing something positive about him.

Yeah, last season he was a complete non factor. It would really help Cole out a lot if you could get another DE to take some of the pressure off of him. Last year, Cole faced double teams and none of your other guys were winning the 1 v 1 matchups.

Our whole defensive line stepped up last week against the Steelers, and I'm hoping it can continue.

I'm most interested in Victor Abiamiri, our second round pick last year. He sat out his entire rookie season, and got injured in training camp, unfortunately. Word is that he was competing for a starting job in camp, and looked pretty impressive. Apparently he has been healing up and should be ready to go soon. He was a beast at Notre Dame and I can't wait to see him play in the NFL.
