Dat Nguyen was officially placed on injured reserve and is done for the season. After missing several games trying to recover from his back injury, he considered retirement. Instead, he tried to play, struggling through the last couple games. Now that he is officially done, I expect he will consider retirement at years end. Other injury notes: Patrick Crayton plans to come back against the New York Giants on Sunday after missing five games following ankle surgery. Crayton returned to practice last week and said his ankle is about 90 percent. He will find out this week in practice how well his ankle responds. The Cowboys signed veteran linebacker Mike Barrow and placed linebacker Dat Nguyen on injured reserve. Barrow, a 12-year veteran, hasn't played since 2003 when he was with the New York Giants. Barrow missed all of last season with knee tendonitis after signing with Washington. Cornerback Anthony Henry's status for Sunday remains unclear after having a setback last week recovering from a groin tear. Henry suffered the injury late in the game Oct. 30 against Arizona. Aaron Glenn made his third start in Henry's place. Center Al Johnson, who had arthroscopic surgery after the Denver game to remove loose cartilage, doesn't expect to miss Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Coach Bill Parcells said the doctors and the trainers believe Johnson will be ready to play. Bill Parcells said starting inside linebacker Scott Shanle, who replaced Dat Nguyen, should return this week against the New York Giants. He was inactive last week with an ankle injury. Recently signed offensive tackle Marcus Price will work on the left side.
I really haven't been paying much attention. How has Anthony Henry been doing for the Boys this year?

How has Anthony Henry been doing for the Boys this year?</div> Before the injury, some say it was the best free-agent pickup by the Boys. I was concerned because they threw a lot of money at a guy that I wasn't sure was a proven player. However, not only has he done a good job at coverage, but he is a physical presence in run-stopping, which we haven't had at corner for a long time. Newman and Henry have done a good job at corner this year.
Dats gone 4 sure, IMO. He's to classy to hang on for an extra payday or two when he cant contribute like he thinks he should. He is the epitomy of the working mans athlete, play hard and leave it all on the field and dont make excuses. His class and talent will be sorely missed. The games Henry and Clayton missed were important but not as important as Sundays game with the g-men. We will need everyones best effort if we expect to get out of NJ with a win.
