I like Dave, its his first year back to college since NFL coaching, the magic can't happen in 1 year, everything takes time to mold together. And whats difficult about college is, some of your players are only gonna be on the team for no more than 4 years, so its hard to work with what you've got and plan all that out. I think this is comparible to Joe Gibbs with the Redskins, he left the NFL for Nascar and now hes back to coaching, they had a rough season last year and I feel that they are going to do really well this year. Just like Wannstedt left college for NFL and now hes back to college. Its like hes lost in translation and needs to get used to his surroundings, just as his players need to become firmilliar with him. It'll happen.

I dont know if any of you follow Pitt closely enough (or have season tickets as I do?), but you'll notice that the actual team he coaches isn't that good. They shouldnt have been even close to preseason Top 25, but then again, it was preseason, and as you'll notice, that means nothing.
Try not to bump month old topics man.Right now they are 4-4, thats not THAT bad they are just at .500
I hear we are gonna get a good running back next year. Hopefully, we'll look for some prospects on the offensive line then maybe we will have a better year next season.
