(Nov. 12, 2005) -- Jets starting cornerback David Barrett will miss the game at Carolina because of an eye injury.Barrett was downgraded to out on Nov. 12. He was poked in the eye in a loss to San Diego last weekend. Rookie Justin Miller is expected to start in his place. The Jets also activated defensive back D.J. Johnson for the game. http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/NYJ/9039613__________________Should be good to see Justin Miller get a start for once... after Ty Law puts Steve Smith on shutdown we might stand a chance.
I doubt Ty Law can shutdown Smith. You guys see that sick move on Law by LT? Looked like an And1 move! SICK!Now you got me hyped up about tomorrow's game Venom. Thanks, I won't sleep and all I'll think about is how the Panthers will destroy the Jets.
I think you guys are going to win too....but I can hope my team stands a chance, right? I just dont see how Bollinger can play well with the Big Carolina Defensive line in his face all game, then again if he does get the passes off we should be able to pass on your secondary so this game will definately be won in the trenches (which your D-line has a huge advantage on )Hopefully our Defense will come out pissed off and can at least contain Smith and your running game, but I dont know if that is possible.
