Boston Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine knew Adrian Gonzalez would get one more at-bat if he left him in the outfield a little longer. He did, and it turned out to be the right choice. Gonzalez, playing right in Boston's injury-riddled outfield, drove in the tiebreaking run to help lift the Red Sox to their 14th win in 19 games, a 6-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night.
