The third year forward,is a fantasy sleeper, with career best numbers and is still going unnoticed! Averaging 20 more minutes per game in the starting line up! He is 14th in the NBA in Field Goal Percentage and is averaging 16.9 points per game in the stretch. He brings consistency and is very much complimenting Chris Pauls game. I have drafted him in every fantasy league team i have, and he is fantastic for my team. Just gota start getting this man some talk because im impressed!
He's improved out of sight. I always loved his rebounding, but he's proven he can score as well. Doesn't hurt having a god-like young PG to feed off though.
I sure have noticed and I think the teams the Hornets are playing for the 2nd and 3rd times have noticed as well. Alot of commentators expected more from West coming out of Xavier as an All-American, but he needed to adjust his game against taller, stronger players and develop more range and moves. He will be the first to credit Paul, and he has, with pulling defenders away from him when Paul penetrates and dishes to West for an easy lay-up, dunk or 5-foot jumper. It's also important to remember that this kid from Garner, NC can run the floor which is a must with the Hornets this year. As long as West is focused, stays within his game, rebounds hard, and moves well without the ball, Paul will get the pill to him.
