Here is what Baron Davis said about his injury and playoff shot. And here is a link to the whole article http://www.elevationmag.com/basketball/index.php?itemid=45 EM: How are you recovering from your ankle injury that you've sustained? BD: It?s getting better everyday and I hope to be back as soon as possible. I don't have a timeline right now and don't want to hurt myself by rushing back too quickly, but I want to be back out there as soon as I can to help us make that run. EM: What is it going to take to end the 11-year playoff drought of this franchise? Who do you think you'll have to compete with for the final three playoff spots? BD: There are a lot of teams in the West right now that still have a shot at getting into the playoffs. It?s going to be a tough race, but like I said before, if we play up to our potential I still feel we are in place to make a run. What do you think???
To make the playoffs, the Warriors will definatley need Davis back in the line up. Even if they manage to make the playoffs without him, I cant see them making it past the first round unless he plays.
its real easy to get depressed about how the warriors have been playing this year, but i have to hope that most of that is because of how high the expectations were at the beginning of the year. the only consolation to the sub .500 record is that the w's have rarely been blown out this year. most of our losses, we were in definately in the game...but that makes it more disapointing. a real talented frontcourt player is all this team needs to get over the hump...too bad they're not easy to come by.
